First of all, welcome to the new site! It’s exciting to have a new place for my blog and current projects. This is a work in progress and I’d love to have feedback, so please stop by and give me suggestions on how to make the site even better. Thanks for visiting!
This week, I not only moved websites, I also moved houses. What can I say? I like to make big changes all at once. As I began unpacking the many, many boxes of books (I have more boxes of books than I have boxes of clothes, honestly), I found a few newly released ones I simply can’t wait to read. Now I should be devoting all my attention to revising my current manuscript and planning out the next, but I always think, why limit yourself?
Here are some of the ones on my “to read” shelf:
1) The Kennedy Half-Century by Larry Sabato
2) Things that Matter by Pulitzer-prize winning author Charles Krauthammer
3) Writing the Breakout Novel Workbook by Donald Maas (need to get started on that editing!)
4) Henry VII by S.B. Chrimes (OK, this last one probably isn’t on many lists. It’s research for my next project. But I’m still anxious to read it.)
What new books are you patiently waiting on your “to read” shelf?
